The South Denver 2009 Showcase of Retirement Communities was an impressive showcase of senior living options, which included the region’s best retirement communities. Five Denver area retirement communities were showcased in this two-day event featuring free food, music, drinks, entertainment and tours. Each community hosted prospective residents or their caregivers throughout the weekend.    
Guests who visited all five communities voted on awards in seven categories. The winners are:

Special Recognition for Unique Independent Living

More senior community tours are planned for North Denver in March, Boulder in April, Colorado Springs in June and South Denver again in September, 2010.  This unique event was produced by Red Energy Public Relations, a Colorado Springs-based company. Additional tours are being coordinated nationwide.   

Considered it was an opportunity to “party hop” as guests were treated to complimentary food, drink, music and tours of the area’s most beautiful places to retire. 

The Showcase of Retirement Communities was a two-day retirement community tour that included the region’s premier senior living options. The event was free and open to the public. Guests were encouraged to carpool.

Communities provided 30-minute tours in a fun, casual open house setting. Each community featured food, entertainment, giveaways, music and tours. Current residents were available to talk to guests about what makes their community special. Information on specific services, amenities and pricing was also be available at each community. All guests received Showcase bags filled with free gifts, coupons, and information about senior services offered from our business sponsors. Guests who visited each Showcase location also had the opportunity to vote for “Best of Showcase” Awards like Best of Show, Best Dining, Friendliest Staff and more.
